It connects Fogo to the wider multichain ecosystem — so you can send tokens, access liquidity, and interact with apps across other supported networks. Support for additional assets will be added in future updates. ## How to transfer There are two ways to transfer USDC to and from Fogo: using the integrated widget in your Fogo Sessions wallet or using the Portal Bridge UI. Both methods leverage Wormhole for seamless asset transfers between Fogo and other blockchains. :warning:**Note:** When transferring USDC from Solana -> Fogo, you *must* have both USDC and sufficient SOL on Solana to cover gas and rent fees and, in the case of Option 2, the gas dropoff fee of $4. ### Step 1 — Choose your transfer method #### Option 1: Fogo Sessions (recommended) * Best for Solana users. * Supports multiple Solana wallets, including Phantom. * Smooth and direct transfer process. When you transfer *into* Fogo, via Portal Bridge, you will receive 10 $FOGO in return for a $4 **gas dropoff** fee on Solana *if* your $FOGO balance on the Fogo blockchain is 0. It supports multiple wallets and provides the best user experience. * Wormhole + Nightly allows transfers from other chains but requires more manual steps and has limited transfer-out functionality. * Only USDC transfers are supported at this time. I can't see my balance in my wallet You can access Fogo mainnet using any SVM wallet by leveraging [Fogo Sessions](https://www.fogo.io/fogo-sessions). If you open your wallet extension you may not see your native Fogo balance. Instead, head to the [portfolio page](https://portfolio.fogo.io/) to access the Fogo account assigned to your SVM address. Why don't I pay gas? [Fogo Sessions](mailto:undefined) is Fogo's novel approach to optimizing user experience. Sessions shifts the burden of transaction fees from users to dApps. Transaction fees are still being paid, but are sponsored via a paymaster by the dApp you are interacting with.
What are Fogo Flames? [Fogo Flames](https://flames.fogo.io/) is the Fogo ecosystem's points mechanism. Interacting with Fogo mainnet and actively engaging with the ecosystem is rewarded with Fogo Flames.

# Fogo Flames Season 2 ### Overview The Flames program rewards users for participating in the ecosystem. Every week, an initial pool of 500,000 Flames is distributed to users based on their activity across eligible applications. Users can also earn additional Flames by referring others. These flames will be in addition to the base pool. ## Status Fogo Flames S2 has come to an end.
