# Fogo Flames Season 2

### Overview

The Flames program rewards users for participating in the ecosystem. Every week, an initial pool of 500,000 Flames is distributed to users based on their activity across eligible applications.

Users can also earn additional Flames by referring others. These flames will be in addition to the base pool.

There will be **200 million $FOGO** allocated to Season 2.

#### Schedule, Flames accrual & Dashboard

* Week period: Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
* Distribution: Flames are earned throughout the week and reflected in the leaderboard every Wednesday. The first update will be 28 Jan.
* End date: TBD
* [Link to dashboard](https://flames.fogo.io)

#### Eligible Dapps

Activity on the following applications will accrue Flames:

* [Valiant](https://valiant.trade/): Decentralized Exchange
* [Pyron:](https://app.pyron.fi/) Lending & Borrowing
* [Brasa:](https://brasa.finance/) Liquid Staking
* [Ignition:](https://app.ignitionfi.xyz/rewards) Liquid Staking

Note: Dapps may be added/removed in future weeks. LST emissions are included in Season 2.

#### How Referrals Work

You can earn bonus Flames by inviting other users.

* The Reward: You will receive 1 Flame for every 4 Flames your referred users earn.
* Activity Based: Bonuses are generated by active usage (trading, lending, staking), not just for connecting a wallet.
* No Deductions: This bonus is added on top of the pool. Your friends keep 100% of the Flames they earn; your bonus does not affect their flames accrual.

**Instructions**

1. Sign in with your SVM wallet on the [Flames Dashboard.](https://flames.fogo.io/)
2. Generate your unique referral link. Note\* can only contain lowercase letters, numbers and dashes.
3. When a user connects their wallet via your link, they are successfully referred.
